When I was a wee little kid, I got my very first camera. A Kodak Instamatic Camera, complete with one color film cartridge containing of a whopping 12 exposures! This marked the origins of a lifelong obsession in capturing that, "ultimate image". Thank goodness, my life has never been the same since. In high school I learned how to print and develop B&W film... which seriously kicked my obsession into overdrive. (Although, I DO NOT miss the darkroom and chemicals!)
In the late 80's I starting doing basic design projects (via PageMaker) on a classic Mac Plus. In the early 90's I attended a Photoshop demo/workshop held at the LA Times. Two words: mind blown! By the late 90's I was a was transformed into I'm a Photoshop devotee/geek. In the early-mid 2000's digital photography was heating up. That, along with my ever-increasing Photoshop skills magically turned my "snapshots" into serious photography. Once the Adobe Creative Suites became a serious thing, both my design and images manipulation skills were refined to the point where I became a marketable contender in the digital imaging and design community. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
